This cable has an emitter core of 1mm diameter and 16 (0.25) dia. receiver core fibers surrounding the emitter fiber. This cable is best for sensing smaller objects and increasing accuracy of detection. Please make sure this fiber cable is inserted into the fiberoptic sensor correctly and that the emitting light is present in the center of the fiber core otherwise the sensing accuracy will not be optimal.
