LX5000 Series
The LX5000 series family of explosion proof limit switches has passed the pressure-resistant explosion-proof structure d2G4 inspection established by the Ministry of Labor, Industrial Safety Research Laboratories. We can provide you with additional information on the level of our approval and applicable dust, gases, and temperatures. The switches are vertical in style and are made of aluminum diecast to give light weight and robust structure. Die cast surfaces are then treated against rust and bake finished for outstanding corrosion resistance and weatherproofing. Switches are available in two cord lead-in types, conduit pipe joined type, or pressure resistant packing lead-in type that facilitates wiring of the cord. Stainless steel screws are used for excellent corrosion resistance. Mechanical life is rated at 4 million operations. There are 4 different kinds of actuators. 2-circuit double break contacts are rated for current up to 5 amps.

VCX-5000 Series
The VCX-5000 series family of explosion proof limit switches has passed the pressure-resistant explosion-proof structure d2G4 inspection established by the Ministry of Labor, Industrial Safety Research Laboratories. We can provide you with additional information on the level of our approval and applicable dust, gases, and temperatures. The VCX-5000 is center neutral in operation. The center neutral style can be used to operate one of two different switches depending on which way the actuator is operated and the simultaneous or multiple circuit style operates two different circuits at the same time. Switches are available in two cord lead-in types, conduit pipe joined type, or pressure resistant packing lead-in type that facilitates wiring of the cord. Stainless steel screws are used for excellent corrosion resistance. Mechanical life is rated at 2 million operations. There are 4 different kinds of actuators. Two SPDT contacts are rated for current up to 5 amps.
 

1LX5700 Series
The 1LX5700 series family of explosion proof limit switches has been qualified to EN 50 014, 50 018, 50 019 approval standards. This compact, vertical limit switch can be used in hydrogen gas environments. Gas explosion proof and pressure tight, the 1LX5700 series can be used in outside applications. Internal switches conform to potentially explosive atmospheres flameproof structure. Clip-on terminal screws are used on the terminal plate to facilitate wiring. A conduit wiring system is used for leading out the cables, making a junction box unnecessary when wiring. SPDT contacts are rated for up to 2 amps.
